Read her poem in TSAR’s Spring 2014 Issue.
Marina Kaganova is a PhD candidate in Anthropology at Columbia University, currently in the field in the republic of Georgia. In addition to writing poems and thinking about her dissertation, when in New York, Marina sings with Supruli, the NYC Georgian Choir, as well as Ukrainian Village Voices, and currently finds herself in the position of a manager/agent of the Tbilisi-based folk ensemble Adilei (you should check them out because they are awesome and far more interesting than Marina herself #AdileiUSA). She loves harmony and sharpness, and makes a mean quiche.
